The Scenic Highways feature class shows scenic highway locations as derived from event mapping Feature 115, characteristics Scenic Highway Designation (SCENEHWY), Scenic Highway Designation Date (SCENEDTE), Scenic Highway Designation Extension (SCENEEXT) from the FDOT Roadway Characteristics Inventory data. This data represents the information collected and reported as of the most recent inventory performed and may not reflect the current conditions.
The FDOT Scenic Highways feature class provides spatial information on Florida scenic highways. Denotes the designation of the Florida Scenic Highway Program, which was developed in 1996 in accordance with Section 335.093, F.S. The program promotes the preservation, maintenance, protection and enhancement of the cultural, historical, archeological, recreational, natural and intrinsic scenic resources of Florida highways. The program also provides travelers a unique historical view of Florida. This data is required for all roadways designated as a scenic highway by the Production Management Office.

The Scenic Highways feature class shows scenic highway locations as derived from event mapping Feature 115, characteristics Scenic Highway Designation (SCENEHWY), Scenic Highway Designation Date (SCENEDTE), Scenic Highway Designation Extension (SCENEEXT) from the FDOT Roadway Characteristics Inventory data. This data represents the information collected and reported as of the most recent inventory performed and may not reflect the current conditions.
The FDOT Scenic Highways feature class provides spatial information on Florida scenic highways. Denotes the designation of the Florida Scenic Highway Program, which was developed in 1996 in accordance with Section 335.093, F.S. The program promotes the preservation, maintenance, protection and enhancement of the cultural, historical, archeological, recreational, natural and intrinsic scenic resources of Florida highways. The program also provides travelers a unique historical view of Florida. This data is required for all roadways designated as a scenic highway by the Production Management Office.
